December is one of my favourite months of the year. For me, it’s about taking stock of all the events of the past twelve months, and spending time with those who matter most throughout the holidays. Here in Northern Ontario, our winter sky is every shade of grey, and most mornings tend to be the types where you don’t want to leave the comfort of your bed.
November was a very busy month for me. Here’s a little recap:

I’ve been receiving a lot of feedback on my work lately and I absolutely love it. It’s especially empowering and heartwarming to receive messages from followers saying that they can relate to my posts and the experiences I’m discussing. So many people hide their feelings because they feel as though they’re alone in them, but what we all must realize is that we’re more alike than we are different. Everyone feels so lonely, and the irony is that they’re all feeling the same. It’s exceptionally powerful to hear someone’s story and feel heard in return.
THE UNMISTAKABLE EFFECT (by Sian Richardson):
Things over at @thegoddessrebellion are doing well as per usual. Based on my writing for the account, I was asked to contribute to a monthly digital magazine called The Unmistakable Effect.
The issue I contributed for was Issue 04: Make The Damn Space — by the insanely talented @sianricho. I've had the true honour of being a part of the magazine with my article titled "How to Stop Standing In Your Own Way". It's about letting go of ghosts, clearing out the mind, releasing resentment, harnessing creativity, as well as learning your lessons (and unlearning your patterns). Here is a little preview:
"Making the space is like tending to a garden. If we want a lush bed full of healthy greens or flowers, there are certain steps that we must endeavour. It’s important to nourish the cherished plants that we wish to grow, and weed out the parasitic organisms that are seeking to suffocate them. Making the space is about having the clarity to identify what we want, and having the tenacity to do the work necessary to achieve it. It’s also about knowing what we do not want, and sacrificing the things that impede upon achieving our goals. Making the space is about heightening our standards and lowering our thresholds for chaos. It’s about allowing ourselves to deserve more than what we currently have, and having faith in our own skills to achieve it. Making the space is about allowing change, growth, and opportunities into our lives. It’s about knowing we’re more than our past, and having the courage to face our present head on. It’s about releasing the need to be involved in conflict, and opening the floodgates for creative expression. It’s about doing the inner work and undoing the learned behaviour."
The issue is beautiful, raw, and combines stunning visuals and powerful words. If you want to grab Issue 04 or subscribe to The Unmistakable Effect, you can find it here. You will not be disappointed—this girl and all the work she does is pure magic.
Here are some little things I've been working on...
